Our History

Varitrend Industrial Rubber And Manufacturing (pty) ltd produces products in a wide variety of different polymers, natural rubber, synthetic rubbers and EPDM. Products and moulds are manufactured according to customer design and specifications with all assistance in the design thereof by management. Testing carried out with quality procedures in place. The abilities to supply a broad spectrum of industries throughout South Africa and Internationally with high specification components and critical parts. Rubber compounding is done in house on our Intermesh internal mixer.

Varitrend Industrial Rubber has a state-of-the-art laboratory. We test all our compounds mixed in house. The lab consists of :-

  • Moving Die Rheometer (MDR)
  • G Balance
  • DIN Abrasion tester
  • Tensile Tester

All tests are done in accordance to SABS Specifications.

Varitrend Industrial Rubber has a wide range of platen sizes ranging from the smallest being a 300mm x 300mm, 800mm x 800mm 200 ton to a  500 ton 1.5m x 1m Double cylinder press.

Varitrend industrial rubber and Manufacturing (pty) Ltd manufactures all its moulds in house using a CNC vertical milling machine. All design and 3D modelling are done using Solidworks and Autodesk Fusion 360.
